Why We Built FindEpcmai — We've sat in the BD meetings.
We know what's broken.

FindEpcm wasn't built from the outside looking in. It was built by people who spent years in EPC, construction, and industrial BD — watching capable teams lose projects not because they weren't good enough, but because they found out too late.

We've been on both sides of the table.
"Connecting scattered signals before they fade."
Chapter 01 — The Origin

We've been on both sides of the table.

We've worked in EPC and construction — on projects where the right contractors never got a chance to bid because no one knew to call them. We've worked in BD and sales in this sector — spending hours every week scanning sources, chasing leads, and building spreadsheets that were out of date before they were finished.

And we've sat on the client and owner side — watching vendor selection happen by default because the right firms simply weren't visible at the right time.

The same problem kept surfacing from every angle: the information existed. The projects were moving. The signals were there. But they were scattered across hundreds of sources, buried in regulatory filings, and showing up too late for BD teams to do anything meaningful with them.

Nobody was connecting those signals into something actionable. So we decided to build it.

Business development is a timing problem — not a capability problem.
"Timing determines wins. Capability is secondary."
Chapter 02 — What We Believe

Business development is a timing problem — not a capability problem.

The teams that win the best projects aren't always the most technically capable. They're the ones who knew about the project early enough to build a relationship, shape the scope, and position themselves before the shortlist formed.

That timing advantage used to be reserved for firms with the biggest networks and the most senior contacts. We're building the infrastructure to make it available to every BD team — regardless of size, geography, or how deep their rolodex goes.

We're early. We'll be honest about that.
"1,000+ active signals, 5,000+ validated projects."
Chapter 03 — Where We Are

We're early. We'll be honest about that.

We've built the core intelligence pipeline — signal ingestion, classification, project validation, AI matching, stakeholder enrichment, and real-time alerts. We've tracked over 1,000 unique signals and built a database of 5,000+ validated projects. And we're working directly with a small number of early access teams who are using the platform in their real BD workflows right now.

We're not at scale yet. What we are is deeply focused — on making the intelligence genuinely useful, on building closely with the teams using it, and on getting the core product right before we grow it.

If you're evaluating us as an early access user, that means something specific: you get direct access to the team, more influence over what gets built next, and a platform that's actively being shaped around real use cases — not a roadmap decided in a boardroom.

Chapter 04 — What We're Building Toward

The infrastructure layer that changes how BD runs in this sector.

The EPC and industrial supply chain runs on relationships and timing. Right now, most of that is managed through individual networks, personal contacts, and manual research — which means it's fragile, inconsistent, and impossible to scale.

In two to three years, we want every BD team in this sector — whether they're a global EPC contractor or a specialist subcontractor — to have a live, intelligent view of the project market that tells them exactly where to focus, who to call, and when to move. Not as a research tool. As a core part of how they run their business.

That's what we're working toward. And we're at the stage where the people who get involved now will help shape what it becomes.

Small team. Real experience. Direct access.
Chapter 05 — The Team

Small team. Real experience. Direct access.

We're a small team with backgrounds across EPC, construction, industrial BD, and technology. We don't have a long list of logos or a press page yet. What we have is firsthand experience of the problem, a working product, and a clear view of where this goes.

If you want to talk to the people building it — not a sales rep, not a demo bot — you can reach us directly below.
